From kicking it with his dogs to diving into his long-term goals, Maxx opens up about the mindset and work ethic that drives him to keep improving every season.

He also shares what it was like being teammates with Antonio Brown and Davante Adams, giving the Boys a behind-the-scenes look at the personalities inside the locker room. The conversation shifts to the Derek Carr situation in Las Vegas and how Maxx processed everything as it unfolded.

Maxx then delivers a classic monologue about his All-Pro mentality and the standard he holds himself to—one of those speeches that’ll make you want to run through a brick wall.

With Maxx recently being traded to the Ravens, it felt like the perfect time to revisit this conversation from his days with the Las Vegas Raiders and hear the mindset that made him one of the most respected defensive players in the league.

Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. We got a shorter episode and a lighter squad for you guys this week as the boys are in a bit of dead period with the football season being over. The boys start off the pod recapping this past weekend. This was the first nice weekend in Nashville and a couple of the boys got outside. Mitch gets into him and Matt hitting Broadway with a couple of the other fellas. It turned into a bit of a flop given the bar they were going to had a tent up still for the cold weather. Following that, each of the guys give their worst athlete breakup. Everyone has had a favorite player eventually leave their team and you have to eventually get over it. Recorded: February 6th, 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Bussin' With The Boys. This week, Will is joined by friend of the show, Clay Matthews. Clay and Will dive into all of the headlines coming out of the NFL Combine from this past weekend. The guys get into what their experience was like at the Combine, for Will, his pro day. The boys get into what they were most nervous about and whether or not Will is more athletic than Clay.
