Episode 1363: Uncut & Unsigned August 25 Bunyip Aristocracy

Tue, 25 Aug 2026

Part 1: Join Tony and Shippa as they add together the ages of their two guests today, do a quick calculation, and realise that they should in no way be influenced in such a drastic way as they are by the legend who is Marc Bolan, aka T-Rex! Yes, be amazed when the young Jeepsters Tyson and Seb from the Gold Coast band Bunyip Aristocracy share their love of the glam era, the 60s pop-rock stylings of The Kinks, Harry Nilsson, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles…what is going on? Talk about Children of the Revolution!

Part 2: In the second half of the show, you’ll hear tracks from Unicorn (Fremantle), Frankie Rose (LA), Jane Dire (Sydney), Han (Sydney), Keith David (Melbourne), Killing Flaw (Blue Mountains), Colin Moulding (London), fjordie (Brisbane), D’essa (Brisbane), Angel Tuesday (NW Tasmania) and SOULiD8 (Adelaide), with Shippa’s Surprise Les Manteez having a wooden affair in France, peut-être?

Episode 1365: Everyone Deserves Music with Scott - 23 August 2026

Sun, 23 Aug 2026

When I commenced this show all the way back in Jan 2013, my concept was a focus on roots tunes with some indie thrown in. I reckon it's flipped as we've evolved - so today we head back to a couple of roots classics from Xavier Rudd and John Butler with a recent electronic cover of Xav's track 'Spirit Bird' from Dutch electronic artist Joris Voorn. Elsewhere new music from Body Type, Sesame Girl, Gang of Youths, Blondshell, Nxdia, Grace Cummings, Ruby Gill, MEMORIALS, Scott Cook and Ken Pomeroy.
