THE ACOUSTIC CAFÉ is a fortnightly program featuring a mix of singer – songwriter, Celtic, Cajun, global roots, traditional and contemporary folk, blues, country blues, bluegrass, country, old timey and Americana music from Australia and around the world. Live to air, 8pm, every second Tuesday.

When I commenced this show all the way back in Jan 2013, my concept was a focus on roots tunes with some indie thrown in. I reckon it's flipped as we've evolved - so today we head back to a couple of roots classics from Xavier Rudd and John Butler with a recent electronic cover of Xav's track 'Spirit Bird' from Dutch electronic artist Joris Voorn. Elsewhere new music from Body Type, Sesame Girl, Gang of Youths, Blondshell, Nxdia, Grace Cummings, Ruby Gill, MEMORIALS, Scott Cook and Ken Pomeroy.
