The Economy Creators Framework: Lead Yourself. Lead Your Economy. Lead Others.
What if creating your own economy isn't about working harder...
What if it's about becoming the person capable of creating it?
In this special episode of Economy Creators™, Mary Farias shares the core framework behind the Economy Creators movement—an approach designed to help entrepreneurs, authors, creators, and professionals build a life and business around who they are rather than what they do.
Originally presented during the July 2026 Economy Creators Workshop, this episode explores the creative process that transformed one simple idea into a growing movement that now includes a monthly workshop, podcast and radio show, eBook, anthology, and thriving community.
Mary explains that every meaningful economy begins with a decision.
One committed decision.
One idea that is nurtured through immediate action.
Drawing on the teachings of Bob Proctor, Napoleon Hill, Wallace D. Wattles, Maxwell Maltz, and other personal development pioneers, she introduces the three-part Economy Creators Framework:
1. Lead Yourself
Every lasting transformation begins within.
Mary shares her own journey of transitioning from a lifelong identity in gymnastics to building a business centered around herself rather than a single profession. She explains why self-image determines our results, how limiting identities keep us stuck, and why personal growth requires more than simply consuming information—it requires implementation.
2. Lead Your Economy
Once you've established who you're becoming, it's time to intentionally build your economy.
Mary discusses creating authority assets, increasing visibility, cultivating relationships, organizing offers, and developing multiple expressions of your message. Whether through books, workshops, podcasts, speaking, or other platforms, your economy should grow around your unique interests, talents, and experiences—not around a single job title.
3. Lead Others
Leadership isn't about telling people what to do.
It's about becoming the example.
Mary explains why leaders must continue leading themselves, why coaches need coaches, and how influence grows when our actions, communication, and example are aligned. She also shares Wallace D. Wattles' principle of leaving every person with the impression of increase—helping others feel stronger, more hopeful, and more capable because they encountered you.
Throughout the episode, Mary offers practical exercises to help listeners evaluate their current economy, recognize opportunities for growth, identify self-leadership leaks, and begin intentionally designing a YOU-shaped economy.
You'll discover:
Why self-image sets the boundaries of achievement
How one idea can evolve into multiple income streams
The importance of authority assets like books and eBooks
Why consistent action beats endless planning
How visibility creates opportunity
Why your economy should be built around you, not just your profession
The difference between reacting and responding as a leader
How to become the kind of person others naturally want to follow
The central message is simple:
Lead Yourself. Lead Your Economy. Lead Others.
When you intentionally develop yourself, organize your gifts, and use them to serve others, you don't just build a business.
You create a life of purpose, contribution, and freedom.
