FADECO COMMUNITY RADIO - Located in the far northwest of Tanzania, it serves to provide vital development information to rural farmers and others shielded from mainstream media. It provides a platform for information sharing, awareness raising in vital issues including : health (basic primary health care), environmental conservation (climate change mitigation, climate smart agriculture) sustainable agriculture, education, civic and human rights, rights of marginalized communities: persons with disabilities, elderly, youths, children and women. Integrating with modern information communication technologies, it provides a platform when persons interact to exchange pertinent information that concerns them like: tradition, history and cultures; peace building and conflict resolutions, income generating opportunities, etc.
